SPAL SAT GSM/GPS VEHICLE TRACKING SYSTEM
'An evolution in vehicle security.'

INTRODUCTION
During a recent group test for vehicle tracking systems, AutoExpress magazine recently voted the Spal Sat system 'Best Buy'.

The Spal Sat is an electronic security tracking device which combines GSM and GPS technologies, enabling you to locate the position of your vehicle 24 hours a day.

Spal Sat can be installed to any vehicle either as a 'stand alone' vehicle location device or can be integrated with your vehicles alarm system, so that you receive alerts in the event of your vehicle being broken into.

HOW IT WORKS?
STAND ALONE VEHICLE TRACKING DEVICE
Spal Sat will enable you to track the GPS location of a vehicle via your own PC or laptop. Simply send a command via SMS to the device fitted to the vehicle, Spal Sat will send details including the vehicles latitude and longitude co-ordinates and speed the vehicle is travelling via SMS to your mobile phone.

You enter the location co-ordinates into the European mapping software provided to pinpoint the actual position of your vehicle.

SECURITY ALERTS
Spal Sat can be integrated with your vehicles existing security alarm. In the event of a thief breaking into your vehicle and setting off the alarm system, Spal Sat will automatically contact you by sending a 'security alert' via SMS message and ringing upto four pre-programmed telephone numbers. The security alerts will notify you that your vehicles alarm has been triggered (Spal Sat will continue to contact you until it receives a response from you).

SECURITY FEATURES
In the event of you receiving a 'security alert' either via SMS or recorded voice call to a landline, Spal Sat enables the following security commands to be sent back to the vehicle:
1) Request the vehicles location.
2) Immobilise the vehicles engine. (only when vehicle is stationary)
3) Flash the hazard warning lights.
4) Activate the siren.
5) Perform all above commands.

Spal Sat incorporates a 'Geo-fencing' function that automatically detects if the vehicle has been moved without authorisation from it's last known GPS position. In the event of an unauthorised movement of your vehicle Spal Sat will send an 'unauthorised transit alert' to all pre-programmed telephone numbers.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Spal Sat also offers the following additional features :
1) Automatic system check is sent to your mobile once a week.
2) Low battery warning will be sent via SMS if your vehicles battery is running low or is disconnected.
3) Emergency back-up power in the event of the vehicles battery being disconected.
4) GSM roaming - when travelling overseas the system will notify you via SMS when you cross boundaries and automatically detect the new network operator.
5) No GSM coverage warning - flashes the hazards rapidly 5 times to warn you when parking in an area of no GSM coverage.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS
A 'panic button' can be fitted to the system, in the event of being car jacked or attacked whilst inside your vehicle, simply by pressing the button a 'panic alert' will be sent to all pre-programmed telephone numbers.

A crash sensor can also be installed, in the event of having an accident Spal Sat will sent an 'accident alert' to all pre-programmed telephone numbers.

The Spal anti car jack device can be linked to the Spal Sat system, if your vehicle is car jacked (i.e. stolen using your keys) the system will automatically immobilise the vehicle and send security alerts. [ More information ]

Our StreetPilot "c-series" GPS navigators feature a simple touchscreen interface, with automatic route calculation to any destination and turn-by-turn voice-prompted directions along the way.
